The Impact of Self-conversation Recording to Improve EFL Students’ Fluency: A Quasi-Experimental Research

This article aims at exploring Bangladeshi EFL students’ use of self-conversation recordings and their effectiveness in improving oral fluency. It also explores using Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) to enhance students' speaking performance. The study followed a quasi-experimental research design check the improvement student's fluency accuracy. sample has been selected purposively. was 50 students studying first semester Department English Green University Bangladesh. Students' data were collected pre-test beginning post-test end semester. then analyzed statistical software SPSS. result shows that recording by can improve with grammatical accuracy, achievement from experimental group considerably higher than control group. average N-gain score better (.0424>0.205). However, mean achieved class (52.14 <59.16), (72.33 >67.40). paired t-test indicates significant t-value -14.237 p. value = .000<0.005. Based on findings, recommends instructors classroom
